Interact Club Formed and Tree Plantation Program Held in Gavar, Banke

The Interact Club of Shree Bageshwari Secondary School, located in Gavar, Baijanath Rural Municipality–3, Banke, was formally established along with a tree plantation program. The program was organized with the objective of promoting leadership development, social responsibility, and environmental awareness among young people.

On the occasion, 100 saplings of different species were planted within the school premises. Students, teachers, Rotary members, and local stakeholders participated enthusiastically in the tree plantation program. Participants also expressed their commitment to protecting and regularly caring for the newly planted trees.

The Rotary Club of Central Banke stated that it has been prioritizing programs focused on youth, particularly in the areas of education, leadership development, environmental conservation, and community service. The club also plans to further expand its collaboration with the school and conduct various activities aimed at enhancing students' skills and encouraging their participation in social service.

The newly formed Interact Club is expected to provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their leadership abilities, develop new skills, participate in community service, and take active roles in creating positive change in their communities.

According to President Rtn. Ishwori Jung Malla of the Rotary Club of Central Banke, the program conveyed a strong message of bringing together “Youth Leadership, Environmental Conservation and Community Service” and promoting a broader movement for positive social change starting from the school level.
