Tree Plantation Project – Day Two

Rotary Club of Butwal Downtown successfully conducted the second phase of its tree plantation campaign in support of the Rotary District 3292 One Lakh Tree Plantation Campaign.

The first phase was carried out along the Milan Chowk road divider, while the second phase was organized at Mandavya Sewa Ashram, Jeetgadi, Butwal. A variety of fruit-bearing and other indigenous trees were planted within the Ashram premises, where they can be properly protected and nurtured by the Ashram management committee.

Planting the trees inside the premises will ensure their long-term survival and growth while enhancing the environment. As the Ashram is visited by thousands of people, this initiative will benefit the community by providing greenery, shade, and fruit for years to come, creating a lasting environmental impact.
