Project Objective
The Business Workshop was organized with the objective of enhancing the financial literacy and professional capacity of contractors by providing practical knowledge on taxation, accounting, and VAT compliance. The program aimed to improve participants' understanding of legal and financial obligations, enabling them to manage their businesses more effectively and maintain compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
Program Overview
Rotary Club of Central Banke successfully organized a one-day Business Workshop for Contractors in Tikapur, Kailali under Rotary's Basic Education and Literacy Area of Focus. The workshop brought together 25 contractors from the region who actively participated in interactive learning sessions designed to strengthen their financial and business management skills.
The technical sessions were facilitated by experienced professionals from BBRB & Associates, Chartered Accountants, who shared practical insights and real-life examples related to taxation, accounting practices, VAT compliance, and common financial challenges encountered by contractors.
